Transfer Ware Vintage China Reese Witherspoon Print Inspired Aprons
These fun designs are inspired by the beautiful English Transferware of the blue and white plates in the book "WHISKEY in a TEACUP" written by Reese Whitherspoon.
Transferware was developed in Staffordshire, England around 1760, the technique consists of transferring a print from an engraved and inked copper plate to a sheet of paper. The paper is then applied to the unfired clay, the print is transferred and the clay is glazed and fired. Transferware permitted potteries to produce far more than if they were hand painting everything.
This is the perfect kitchen accessory! If you love, Reese, then this is for you! These designs and colors reflect the happiness and fun of Ceci's original watercolor and digital illustrations.
