Wisdom sayings and Roses!
Although I started this new year in a different country (Portugal), I am back to the US and after being under the weather for quite some time at home, I had time to reflect and do some planning for 2024. I think that at the beginning of each year we all reflect on the joys and (not so joyful) times we had in the previous year and after a mental inventory we try to improve so we can have a better year than the one before.
With so much time at home recently, I had the opportunity to go look at some books that I rarely have time for and one of them is an old one called "Life's Little Instruction Book". Here Brown gives hundreds of suggestions, observations and reminders on how to live a happy and rewarding life!
His advice is both filled with wisdom and also humor, which I think is much needed nowadays. This book is filled with notes from the heart. Below are some of his wise points:
